About

Since 2018, I have been actively involved in book reviews, stemming from my upbringing in the Chicago area. Reading has always been a sanctuary for me, providing a space for contemplation, imagination, and creativity. As a child, I devoured books well beyond my years, reminiscent of characters like Matilda, a favorite from that time. This deep connection with literature inspired me to start reviewing and launch my blog.

Initially, I viewed reading as a personal experience of jotting down notes and cherished moments. The concept of book reviewing and its significance gradually unfolded, revealing its potential for meaningful engagement. Overcoming initial hesitations about sharing opinions, I ventured into the world of book critique, adopting various personas across different platforms. My journey has led me to collaborate with renowned publicity services like Rockstar Book Tours, Goddess Fish Promotions, iRead Book Tours, Lola's Blog Tours, and more.

My focus lies in promoting authors, sharing impactful books, and contributing positively to the literary landscape. I gravitate towards books that leave a lasting impression and resonate deeply with readers, aiming to make a difference in people's lives. Through platforms like book blogs and bookstagram tours, I engage with a wide array of publications, from advanced reading copies to new releases from esteemed publishers such as Scholastic, Penguin Random House, Disney, Harper Collins, as well as notable indie publishers like Meerkat Press, Dzanc Books, Red Hen Press, The New Press, among others.

This is a story I would recommend to be shared with your child, especially in this day and age, as infertility and IVF are still known as taboo subjects. Sarris has a profound ability to communicate her knowledge of infertility and IVF using a simple, yet delicious, comparison--- Cupcakes! Bessa and her vector graphic illustrations also bring a perfect Corporate Memphis feel, appropriate and fitting for a modern-day children's book.
