Book Review: Whether or not you have experience with infertility, Cupcakes Everywhere commits itself to be a sweet picture book meant for the whole family. This is a story I would recommend to be shared with your child, especially in this day and age, as infertility and IVF are still known as taboo subjects. Sarris has a profound ability to communicate her knowledge of infertility and IVF using a simple, yet delicious, comparison--- Cupcakes! Bessa and her vector graphic illustrations also bring a perfect Corporate Memphis feel, appropriate and fitting for a modern-day children's book. All in all, Cupcakes Everywhere is a comforting, heart-to-heart story that can ignite significant conversations with you and your child. I absolutely loved it!
